PARCIC’s Activities in Malaysia

Protection of Coastal Fisheries Resources
Mangrove planting activities will be conducted to support fishermen who are suffering from declining fish catches due to water pollution and coastal development caused by Malaysia’s rapid economic growth.
Women’s Livelihood Support
PARCIC supports women who are behind the scenes of coastal fishermen’s organizations in Malaysia so that they can sell their products and earn income through food processing businesses.
Multicultural Society Education and English Language Education
PARCIC provides educational programs that enable students to learn about multicultural society and environmental issues while learning English, which is the common language in Malaysia, a multi-ethnic and multicultural country with a mix of Malay, overseas Chinese, and Indian residents.Pick Up – Mangrove Planting Activities by PIFWA, a Fishermen’s Organization
