BEYOND BORDERS Inc. announced Sept. 28 that it has raised funds through a private placement of new shares to be underwritten by REAPRA VENTURES, private investors and founders, as well as borrowings from financial institutions. The total amount of funds raised is approximately 170 million yen.

Amidst the recent surge in Japanese real estate prices, many Japanese investors are particularly interested in real estate in Southeast Asian countries where prices are still undervalued. The total value of real estate transactions through SEKAI PROPERTY is expected to exceed 5 billion yen by the 2020 fiscal year.

The funds raised from this round will be used to improve existing services as well as to develop real estate industry-specific career support services and other DX promotion services for domestic real estate agents.
